“Cape Cod Health News” Highlights SHINE’s Lessons on Medicare Enrollment

Cape Cod Healthcare’s e-newsletter, Cape Cod Health News, highlighted the importance of enrolling in Medicare and the free services of a SHINE Counselor.  Sheila Curtis, SHINE Regional Program Manager, was quoted: “The big issue is the baby boomers who are turning 65 and have not signed up for Medicare benefits. Those are the residents the SHINE program would especially like to reach. Even if you are still working, don’t plan to retire, or are not collecting Social Security, you should contact SHINE to see if you should sign up for Medicare and what your options are.”

Cape Cod Health News shares the latest health information, with expert advice and commentary from a medical or health expert from Cape Cod Healthcare or the greater Cape Cod community.
