The Department of Human Services is an active partner in many initiatives, networks, and coalitions on Cape Cod.  The Department provides leadership, acts as a convener, and provides administrative support to a number of these groups.   In addition, the Department convenes the Health and Human Services Advisory Council and provides  administrative oversight and structure within the County government for the Barnstable County Human Rights Commission.
