Help Ensure Everyone is Counted for the Census 2020

Older Adults & Snowbirds Subcommittee Meeting

WHEN: December 2nd at 1PM
WHERE: Barnstable Adult Community Center, 825 Falmouth Road, Hyannis
A complete count is essential to the region’s long-term planning, and older adults and snowbirds were identified as “hard to count” populations on Cape Cod by the Census.  At this meeting we will develop our action plan for reaching older adults and snowbirds for the 2020 Census throughout the spring.

Young Adults Subcommittee Meeting

WHEN: December 3rd at 11AM
WHERE: Cape Cod Commission Office, 3225 Main Street, Barnstable Village
A complete count is essential to the region’s long-term planning, and young adults were identified as one of Cape Cod’s “hard to count” population by the Census.  At this meeting we will develop our action plan for reaching young adults for the 2020 Census in Spring 2020.

Immigrant/ESL Subcommittee Meeting

WHEN: December 3rd at 1PM
WHERE: Barnstable Adult Community Center, 825 Falmouth Road, Hyannis
A complete count is essential to the region’s long-term planning, and immigrants and individuals who speak English as a Second Language were identified as “hard to count” populations on Cape Cod by the Census.   At this meeting we will develop our action plan for reaching immigrants and ESL individuals for the 2020 Census in the spring.

Homeless/Low Income Subcommittee Meeting

WHEN: December 9th at 10AM
WHERE: Cape Cod Commission Office, 3225 Main Street, Barnstable Village
A complete count is essential to the region’s long-term planning, and low-income individuals and persons experiencing homelessness were identified as some of Cape Cod’s “hard to count” populations by the Census.  At this meeting we will develop our action plan for reaching these individuals for the 2020 Census in Spring 2020.
