Massachusetts Cancer State Plan

Every year 36,000 Massachusetts residents are diagnosed with cancer and nearly 13,000 die from cancer.  Cancer continues to be the leading cause of death in Massachusetts, and impacts some populations more than others.  The Final MA Cancer State Plan offers an opportunity to work together by increasing our efforts to prevent cancer as well as to insure access to care that extends and improves life for cancer survivors.  This plan addresses several key cross cutting issues: health disparities, community engagement and research and evaluation, issues that are critically important to our efforts to make a significant difference.
