Medicare Seminar Offered in Sandwich – September 22, 2016

Congratulations on turning 65 (or approaching it) and becoming eligible for Medicare!  What, exactly, does that mean?  Come and get the straight story from an expert – Sheila Curtis.  There are some important things you should know about signing-up for Medicare and about your options once you’ve enrolled.  Ms. Curtis will introduce you to the wonderful world of Medicare A, B, C, and D, MassHealth, Prescription Advantage, open enrollment periods, medigaps, and Medicare Advantage plans.

Please join the Sandwich Council on Aging for the informative seminar. A light supper will be served.  This program is also appropriate for family members helping or caring for parents.

The Barnstable County Department of Human Services administers the regional office for the Cape and Islands SHINE Program (Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Everyone). SHINE counselors provide free health insurance information, counseling, and assistance to Massachusetts residents with Medicare and their caregivers.
