Next Sober Social Presents Award-Winning Film

The Cultural Center of Cape Cod is hosting the second âSober Social”.  The monthly event is intended for those in recovery from addiction and offers a vibrant, entertaining, substance-free atmosphere. Each Sober Social highlights a different theme and features fun and engaging activities, such as paint nights, dance parties, art workshops, a Sober Story Slam, open mics, and a pizza-making night.  While the program is geared towards those in recovery, all are welcome to attend. The next Sober Social on Friday, February 3, 2017, from 7:30 to 10:00 PM includes the film “The Artist”, board games, nachos, and beverages.  The Sober Socials are free and all refreshments are complimentary. Please do not bring your own refreshments.

The Barnstable County Regional Substance Abuse Council (RSAC) links towns, providers, organizations, and individuals on Cape Cod to identify and address regional gaps and disparities in the service provider system, and to maximize inter-agency collaboration, funding, and resource opportunities. RSAC facilitates a regional approach to substance use across the continuum of prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery.
